Corporate Social Responsibility

Corporate Social Responsibility is part of our DNA at Gibbs Hybrid. We allocate 2 paid days a year for all of our employees to support one of our 4 charity partners. "Profit for Purpose" sums up why we do what we do and why we work so hard.

We are all passionate about making a difference and having a positive impact on the community as well offering people from all walks of life the chance they deserve to excel. We thought carefully about the charities we wanted to support on an on-going basis, settling on four that epitomised our core values.

Our teams work tirelessly to raise awareness and much needed funds for some less well known charities where we knew we would make an impact and significant difference.

The Clink

Established in 2009, the Clink Charity has worked tirelessly to provide prisoners with the mentoring, training and support needed to prevent reoffending

By offering employment and recognised qualifications, the Clink Charity educates and equips prisoners with the skills and tools needed to secure stable employment upon their release. Operating in Surrey, London, Cheshire and Cardiff; The Clink is doing great things for prisons, people and local communities.

At Gibbs Hybrid we truly believe that everyone deserves a second chance in life. We are supporting the charity by taking 120 people a year to lunch at The Clink. This in turn helps support offenders through their NVQ’s in hospitality and back into work on their release.

Macmillan

Facing cancer can be a lonely and terrifying experience, with so many other factors coming into play than just fighting the disease itself

Macmillan takes the time to find out what really matters to the people with cancer – taking steps to fight for the best possible care. They help shape policies and work with the government to improve lives. Macmillan nurses are famous for the loving care they provide to patients and their families, but the charity does a whole lot more besides.

Everyone knows someone whose life has been touched by cancer. We want to raise funds to help this fantastic charity support patients and families when they are at their most vulnerable.

ZimKids

Zimkids supports orphans and vulnerable families in Zimbabwe

Zimkids is not a feeding programme. They invest time in communities, training in self-sufficiency, providing food, education, medical care and spiritual input in order to give families in crisis a hope and a future.

Our mission is to help Zimkids build new schools to help educate the next generation, allowing them to lift themselves out of poverty.

Coffee4Craig

Since its inception, Coffee4Craig has helped raise awareness of homelessness in Manchester

Dedicated teams of volunteers take to the streets in all weathers throughout the year to feed the homeless. They set up their food station on Sunday, Monday and Tuesdays next to Manchester Cathedral.

Coffee4Craig also works in conjunction with existing partner organisations to provide the best service, housing options and support packages – one person at a time.
Our mission here at Gibbs is to help Coffee4Craig transform a derelict pub into a community hub in Salford, offering advice, a self-referral food bank and a place to get advice.
