GLOBAL RETAIL BANK – DATA CENTRE MIGRATION PROGRAMME

We spent significant time with the business and Portfolio Leads to ensure that the correctly skilled teams were deployed in whilst working with the client on how the programme was to be managed and delivered. We devised a strategy where highly skilled but minimal number of our consultants were required. Our strategy and bespoke solution were significantly more streamlined, efficient and cost-effective realising cost savings of some 55%. Given the success of phase 1, we were asked to deliver the next 3 phases for the following 2 years. Programme completed successfully and easily within time and budget.

We are also working with several institutions on their strategy to manage the uncertainty around Brexit. While the UK has a policy of implementing EU regulations to the fullest – GDPR is a recent example – the deeper complexities lie in potential disruption to EU/UK trade agreements, taxation and the issues around the free flow of workers between countries. From an AML/CTF/KYC perspective, our team can manage the subsequent migration of current UK records to new jurisdictions in, for example, Dublin or Luxembourg.
