Solution Architect – Azure Cloud Virtual Desktop migration – London

Gibbs Hybrid is looking for an accomplished Solution Architect to join our Programme Solutions Team, supporting a financial client in London, with an Azure Cloud Virtual Desktop Migration project.
You will be responsible for the formulation of coherent designs of quality high quality standards, incorporated into the wider enterprise processes and governance selected model. Currently our customer has stood up Azure environment successfully and which is functioning landing zone which has been subsequently accredited and approved. This is an inside IR35 role, via PAYE or an alternative option of paid salary Consultant, with benefits – Do ask for more details.
* The next phase of work requires efforts to be focused on Application Migration, Rollout, Network Impact and Security Integration.
* The project desktop virtual desktop migration. Gibbs Hybrid are supporting with the migration from citrix platform solution to a Microsoft Azure Virtual desktop cloud solution

Essential:

* Solution architecture / Solution Architect
* Azure cloud virtual; desktop, previous migration experience
* Financial services, helpful
* 2 days onsite work in London as a minimum and flexibility to work from home available. Days onsite might fluctuate due to client needs.
* Extensive Azure Desktop Migration, Virtual Desktop Migration or Virtual Desktop Migration to Cloud experience
* Direct experience of working on Azure Desktop Implementations
* Will also consider a background of Cloud Migrations, Citrix, Microsoft and Virtual Desktop Architectural Designs.
* Effective stakeholder management/ engagement design documentation, organisational communication, articulation and understanding of wider impact, with the ability to drive forward the project and associated teams.
* Solid background of Design delivery which could then open up the opportunity to roll work into phase 2 which will be acompassing the delivery and implementation of those approved designs. Phase 1 – Design and Application portfolio secured, Augmentation of Cloud, Updated backdrop of Network Capacity and migration of first tranches of users across to the new environment.
