Gibbs Hybrid is hiring an experienced Performance Test Engineer for a leading IT services client.
Hybrid working: – 1-2 days in London
Rates: Awaiting client feedback/negotiable per day (Inside IR35)
6- 6-month contract with extensions highly likely
Performance Tester Public Sector Client
Required Skills:
* You must have an active UK security clearance to be considered.
* Must be a UK National with a minimum of 5 years of residency.
* Required Technical and Professional Expertise.
Technical Skills/Experience:
* Several years of demonstrable use of one or more of the following tools: Load Runner, JMeter, Rational Performance Tester, Gatling, NeoLoad (or another equivalent tool).
* Ability to write code in either or both Java or C primarily and to demonstrate this.
* Strong understanding and ability to work in an Agile environment as well as Waterfall.
* Experience with DevOps tooling, including GitHub/Bitbucket, Jenkins, MS Build, etc.
* Ability to analyze and report on complex performance data to build conclusions.
Nice to have: –
* Continue Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise.
* Understanding of Networking concepts at all layers.
* Understanding of database storage and partitioning concepts.
* Understanding of the IBM Power series server architecture.
* Nice to Have: Knowledge of Agile Methodologies.
