Gibbs Hybrid first European WBE to join elite group of WEConnect corporate members

Gibbs Hybrid is the first European woman-owned business enterprise (WBE) to have a seat on the Europe Advisory Council of the organisation, which contains several major Gibbs Hybrid clients and partners including Barclays, Bayer, Bristol-Myers Squibb, Cisco, EY, IBM and Intel, among others.

Gibbs Hybrid has become a Corporate member of WEConnect and the first European woman-owned business enterprise (WBE) to have a seat on the Europe Advisory Council of the organisation. WEConnect is a non-profit organisation helps women-owned businesses succeed in global value chains. The organisation’s Europe Advisory Council contains several major Gibbs Hybrid clients and partners including Barclays, Bayer, Bristol-Myers Squibb, Cisco, EY, IBM and Intel, among others.

Gibbs Hybrid CEO Farida Gibbs noted, “As our footprint expands – we are now in UK, Ireland, Poland and Luxembourg, as well as the USA – we are delighted with this opportunity to make a greater impact across Europe and encourage supplier diversity within larger corporations. I am personally passionate about improving the access of woman-owned and minority-owned businesses like ours to supply corporate supply chains.
